GBH Swallow Monster Perch Under Moonlight (3/24/13)

On the way out of Great Meadows Sunday night we saw this guy trying to swallow down a massive perch. We also had great looks at 3 wood ducks, ringed-necked ducks and golden-eyes and saw our first tree swallows of the year!

My personal highlight was the number of young muskrats. They were everywhere.

We capped everything off during a beautiful sunset with the sounds of geese landing by the hundred for the night and a solo woodcock peenting.

Fieldfare!

4th times a charm with a little luck from a pretty lady! We had two looks. One quick and one decent. We were able to snap a quick photo after a good look.

Also... We saw this license plate along the side of the road. Possibly the most sought after license plate for birders of all time. And it was parked in front of "Pergrn". At least 25 other birders around from as far as Maryland.

Boat Trip Everglades -Flamingo

We saw a manatee briefly at the harbor, mangroves along with alligator and salt water crocs!
